Willie Thompson

March 23, 1937 — April 4, 2020

Mr. Willie Thompson, age 83, of 311 Denver Drive, Stantonsburg was called from labor to reward on Saturday, April 4, 2020.  A private funeral service for immediate family will be held.

Precious memories are cherished by his loving wife, Jane Thompson of the home; seven daughters, Beatrice Houston, Angela Womack, Olivia Thompson, April McCleskey, Jacqueline Thompson, Juanita Thompson and Adriana Thompson; four sons, Willis Thompson, Will Thompson, Stanly Thompson and Richard Thompson; five sisters, Bertha Morgan (Curtis), Dorothy Minor of VA, Joyce Richardson (John) of MD, Delores Witcher (Albert) of MD and Angela Quarles (Ralph) of NC;  one brother, Janes Lucas (Vickie);  six stepchildren, Jessica Sutton, Alicia Selby, Jeffrey Selby, Henry Selby, Kelvin Selby, and Shanna Selby; thirty-eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including special cousin, Charles Thompson, and special friends, Jerry Teel, Leroy Ruffin, Ernest and Doris Maddux and  Marcus Hill.      

A public viewing will be held Friday, April 10, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  Please keep the Thompson family in your prayers.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.  They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
