William Lawrence Barnes Hairston

Mr. William Lawrence Barnes Hairston, age 85, of 911 Western Blvd., Tarboro, NC was called from labor to reward on Friday, October 23, 2020.  Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 2 pm at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home 726 South Tarboro St., Wilson.  Bishop Benjamin Butler will officiate.  Interment will be Thursday at 11 am at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving and lasting memories are forever cherished by his three sisters, Maggie Green of Washington, DC, Linda Hairston and Peggy Siples (Dwight) all of Wilson, NC; five brothers, Charles Hairston, Clarence Hairston, Earl Hairston (Geraldine), Norman Hairston (Bessie Ann), and Tommy Hairston all of Wilson, NC; eighteen nieces, twenty-one nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.      

A public viewing will be Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family is receiving friends at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Dwight Siples 605 Blount St., Wilson.  They will assemble at Carrons Funeral Home at 1:15 pm in preparation for the service. Please remember the Barnes family in your prayers during this difficult time.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.
