Mr. Vernon Tyrone Edwards, age 60, of 2305 Fitch Drive, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.  Funeral service will be Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Brown Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1507 Hadley St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Friday, July 31, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Willson, NC The family is receiving friends at 2406 Fitch Dr., Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 12:00 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
