Thelma Ellis Mouzone

Mrs. Thelma Ellis Mouzone, age 86, of 2201 Howard Jones Court, Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, October 9, 2020.  A celebration of her life will be Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11 am at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  Interment will follow in the Golden Gate Cemetery, Pikeville.

Thelma leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Curtis Mouzone; three daughters, Shirley E. Barr of the home, Mary E. Greene of Goldsboro, NC and Addie Edmundson-Stewart (Louis) of Black Creek, NC; three stepdaughters, Valerie Mouzone, Melody Johnson both of Florence, SC and Linda Mouzone-Andersen of Lucama, NC; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four nieces, Dorren Sauls (Ted) of Durham, NC, Denise Edmonds, Beverly Edmonds both of Wilson, NC and Charlene Armstrong of Charlotte, NC; a very special friend, Dr. Gloria Cain; her HOPE Services International family, a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.                             

A public viewing will be Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 10 am on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.  They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
