Rodshawn Malik Barnes

Mr. Rodshawn Malik Barnes, age 16, of 4109 Huntsmoor Lane, Wilson was called to his heavenly home on Monday, August 6, 2018. He was affectionately known as Shawn, and was the son of Rodney Andre Barnes and Lateisha Huggins.  

Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 2 pm at Contending for the Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson. Dr. Torrase Barnes will deliver the eulogy, and Minister Elvin Powell will preside.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.

A viewing will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7 pm to 8 pm at Evening Light Holiness Church, 208 South Pender St., Wilson. They will receive friends at other times at  901 East Vance Street, Wilson and will assemble there at 1 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
