Robert L. Horton, Sr.

Mr. Robert L. Horton, Sr., age 81, of Baltimore, Maryland formerly of Kenly transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, June 12, 2021.  A celebration of his life will be Saturday at 2 pm at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  Interment will follow in the Pineville Disciples Church Cemetery, 270 Motorcycle Road, Clayton.

Robert leaves to cherish warm memories his wife of 60 years, Marjorie Horton; his daughter, Cynthia Moses (David) of Baltimore, MD; his son, Leonard Lee Horton, Sr. (Barbara) of Wilson, NC;  grandchildren, Kira, Auriel, Candace, Ciera, David, Tiffany, Mone’t, Leon, Essence and Taishay;  great grandchildren, Edward, Montrelle, Aiden, Deshaun, Marquise, Brenae, Ki’asjah, Sanijah, Alexis, Tatiana, Taija, Carter, and Leon III; great-great grandchildren, De Shawn, Amias, Honesty, and Kali.  He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
