Rickey Alston

Mr. Rickey "Lil Rick" Alston, age 51, of 124 Vick Street, Sharpsburg was called to eternal rest on Friday, November 8, 2018.  Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 12 noon at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 East Nash Street, Wilson.  Elder Tim Woodard will officiate.  Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Sharpsburg.

Precious memories are cherished by his mother, Peggy Woodard Swinson of the home; his paternal grandmother, Eva Mae Alston of Saratoga, NC; two sisters, Eva Marie Alston Crumel of Sharpsburg, NC and Victoria Alston Ruffin of Wilson, NC; one brother, J.C. Alston, Jr. of Wilson, NC; ten aunts, eight uncles, two nieces, four nephews, two great nieces, six great nephews, two special children whom he reared as his own, Tiffany Barnes and David Bynum, Jr.; a special friend and companion, Emma Gray of Rocky Mt., NC; a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Wednesday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there at 11 am on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please remember the family in prayer during their hours of bereavement.
