Raymond Mackey, Jr.

Raymond "June Mac"   Mackey, Jr. age 87 of 303 Broad St, Stantonsburg was called to eternal rest on Sunday, July 30, 2017.  A celebration of his life will be held Friday, August 4 at 1:00 pm at Bethel AME Zion Church 210 Broad St, Stantonsburg. Elder John Sutton will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Delight Cemetery, Walstonburg.  

Precious memories are cherished by his sons, Curtis Mackey (Helen) of Stantonsburg and Raymond Mackey, III of Wilson; his daughters, Bertha Mackey of Belleville, NJ, Joyce Parker and Carolyn Mackey of Stantonsburg, Ruth Thompson of Maryland, Bertha Hardy of LaGrange and Jackie Edwards of Greenville, NC; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one goddaughter, a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 pm on Friday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please remember the family in prayer.
