Raymond Barnes

Mr. Raymond "Flex" Barnes, age 46, of 6613 Speight School Road, Wilson was called to eternal rest on Friday, April 12, 2019.  Flex was the son of the late Woodrow Barnes and Peggy Parker Barnes.  A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street, Wilson.  Pastor Mabel Holden Finch will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving memories are forever cherished by his children, Malika Barnes and Raymond Barnes, Jr.; seven sisters, Marjorie Bynum (Donnie), Joyce Anderson (Kenneth), Amy Finch (Joseph) all of Saratoga, NC, Josephine Bynum, Lula Parker, Carolyn Graham all of Wilson, NC and Brenda Whitfield (Albert) of Stantonsburg, NC; four brothers, Cheyenne Barnes of the home, Donald Barnes (Tracey), Kenneth Barnes and Demestrius Boston, Jr. (Nikki) all of Wilson, NC; two aunts, Maddie Ruffin of Black Creek, NC and Janice Evans (Clyde) of Wilson, NC; his special companion, Kimothy Locklear of Fayetteville, NC; fifteen nieces, nine nephews, his best friends, Cee, Joseph Ruffin, Marcus Sharpe, Ant Bynum, Jimmy Bynum and Travis Barnes; a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ,1601 Lane St., Wilson.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
