Paulette Marable Myatt Chapman

Mrs. Paulette Marable Myatt Chapman of 1565 Charter Drive, Rocky Mount, North Carolina was called to eternal rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018.  She was born on June 20, 1949 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Walter Lee Peacock and Elise Pryor.

Funeral service celebrating her life will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Olive Chapel Church, Sharpsburg, NC.  The Rev. Tommy Ray Barnes will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Wilson.

Loving and lasting memories are forever cherished by her husband, John C. Chapman of the home; her daughters, Sybil Myatt of Apex, NC and Tea Myatt of Charlotte, NC; her mother, Elise Pryor of Raleigh, NC; her stepmother, Lillian Peacock of Salisbury, NC; two stepdaughters, Jacqueline Gorham (Marvin) and Shonette Kirtz of Rocky Mt., NC; one stepson, Quinn Jenkins (Michelle) of Rocky Mt., NC; four sisters, Shelia Peacock Douglas (Barry) of Jamica Queens, NY, Cynthia Peacock of Enfield, CT, Betty Pryor and Fenice Walker (Louie) both of Raleigh, NC; three brothers, Donald Peacock, Sr. of Salisbury, NC, Charlie Pryor (Rita) and Leo Pryor both of Raleigh, NC; her grandson, Johnnie Myatt (Rebecca) of Morrisville, NC; two great grandchildren, Isiah Myatt and Ophelia Myatt of Morrisville, NC; ten step grandchildren, her mother-in-law, Ann Chapman of Rocky Mt., NC; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at 101 Focus Court, Rocky Mount, NC and will assemble there at 12:30 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
