The two married and later returned to North Carolina to share a long love and devoted life to each other for over 66 years. The Legendary Pastor Carrie Lee Jacobs, our "Spiritual Mom" and Senior Pastor of Trinity Deliverance Holiness Church was a Founding member of the Prayer Center and Mount Calvary Holiness Church #2 alongside her loving husband and our Founding Father, the late great Overseer Robert Jacobs. Early in her life she received Christ as her Lord and Savior under the leadership of the late Bishop Gertrude Saunders and the late Bishop Brumfield Johnson, also known as "Dad Johnson". Bishop Johnson confirmed God's call on her life to fulfill the spiritual gift of Pastorialship. She got busy with God's business starting out with just her husband and spiritual children packing their car every week traveling from Wilson to Raleigh-Durham, Richmond, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and so many other local areas spreading the Gospel of Jesus through preaching and songs. As the ministry grew, God took her from ministering in a packhouse to a church member's living room, then the "Prayer Center", and finally to Trinity Deliverance Holiness Church. Her husband designed and constructed the church where she remained pastor for 51 years until God called Pastor to her heavenly home. Reverend Carrie Jacobs, a Five Star General endured hardness as a good soldier in the army of the Lord. She was determined to train and equip God's people to be ye also ready to serve in all capacities in the army of the Lord. She was a woman who not only taught the Word of God, but a woman of integrity who lived an exemplary life to those she led. She preached profound sermons touching many lives all over the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
