Ms. Oazie Jones Mitchell, age 83, of 7215 Rock Ridge School Road, Sims, North Carolina transitioned from earthly labor to eternal reward on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.  A celebration of life will be Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 at 1 pm at Mary Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 6202 Wiggins Mill Rd., Lucama, NC.  Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Friday, Jan. 9, 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.   Please keep the Jones and Mitchell Families in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
