Mother Virginia Tyson Sanders Ruffin, age 73, of 2103 Black Creek Road, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal life on Monday, January 5, 2026. A celebration of her life will be Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12:30 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
