Mother Pauline Barnes Hinnant, age 97, of 5431 First Road, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. A Celebration of Her Life and Legacy will be held 12 Noon Thursday, March 5, 2020 at St. Paul Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Inc., 4009 Lake Wilson Road, Wilson, North Carolina. Bishop Dr. Chester L. Aycock will deliver the eulogy and Eldress Geraldine Battle will preside. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Lane Street East, Wilson, North Carolina.
A viewing will be held from 3 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro Street, Wilson North Carolina. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 11 am on Thursday in preparation for the funeral service. Loving memories will be forever cherished by three sons, Leroy Barnes of Hampton, VA, Leslie Hinnant (Donna) of Wilson, NC and Ricky Alton Hinnant of Wilson, NC.; seventeen grandchildren, Roy Lamont, Tonia Rochelle, Gregory Monta, Christian, Marcellous, Tracie, Rickgale, Marcello, Tiara, Monty, Marquavia, Maria, Ryan, Antonio, Douglas; thirty great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Margaret Diggs of Raleigh, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and several god children including, Annie Belle Ricks of Wilson, NC and Bobby Moore of Durham, NC.
