Mother Mae Helen Sanders Smith

Mother Mae Helen Sanders Smith, age 86, of 5740 NC Highway 264 Alternate East (Hwy. 91), Wilson, North Carolina gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. A celebration of her life and legacy will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 1 pm at Contending for the Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at Piney Groves FWB Church, 309 Vick St E, Wilson, NC with an Inspirational Wake from 6 pm to 7 pm.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 pm on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Sanders and Smith Family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
