Mother Ara Mable Atkinson Edwards

Mother Ara Mable " Kit" Atkinson Edwards, age 91, formally of 1868 East Trail Dr., Wilson, North Carolina transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 3 pm at Brown Chapel United American Free Will Baptist Church, 1507 Hadley St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Gardens.

A public viewing will be Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Suggs Christian Temple Church, 1602 Stantonsburg Cir SE, Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at 2406 Fitch Dr., Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 2 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
