Missionary Bert Hazel Burgess, age 82, of 6215 Pine Meadows Road, Elm City, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, April 5, 2025.  Homegoing service will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11 am at the Red Budd Holy Church, 637 Cleveland St., Rocky Mt., NC.  Interment will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Rd., Goldsboro, NC.

A public viewing will be Friday, Apr. 11, 2025 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 10 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Burgess Family in your prayers.
