Minister Edna Jean Williams Montague, age 72, of 54 R'Dons Road, Stantonsburg, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, January 17, 2026.  A celebration of her life and work will be Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026 at 1 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the St. Delight Cemetery, Walstonburg, NC.

A public viewing will be Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
