Mavis Faye King Allen

Mavis Faye King Allen, age 63, of 4153 Sunset Ave, Rocky Mount, NC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.  

A celebration of her life will be held 11 am Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Oakland Cemetery, Nashville, NC.  The Reverend Wilson Battle will officiate.  

Mavis, affectionately known by family and friends as "Squeaky" is survived by her loving husband, Seefair Allen of the home; her daughters, Contessa Renee Allen Richardson of Greensboro, NC and Artesha Allen of the home; four sisters, Felicia Perry (Maurice) and Carolyn Wiggins of Bailey, NC, Keisha Wiggins of Kinston, NC and Sherry Wiggins of Wilson, NC; four brothers, Rev. Dexter Wiggins of Stockland, CA, Allen Wiggins of Siler City, NC, Corey Wiggins and McCullen Wiggins, Jr. of Nash County, NC; one aunt, Thelma Richardson of Wilson, NC; one uncle, Avon King of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017  from 6 pm to 8:00 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 10 am on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
