Mattie Batts Bridgers

Ms. Mattie Batts Bridgers, age 97, of 213 Dewey St., Wilson transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 27, 2022. A celebration of her life and legacy will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12 noon at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson.  Elder Ernest Ray Melton will be the eulogist. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.

A public viewing will be Friday, March 4, 2022 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 11 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
