Ms. Mattie Baines Barnes, age 78, of 501 Maury Street, Wilson, North Carolina departed from this earthly life on Sunday, November 16, 2025.  Funeral service will be Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025 at 2 pm at Faith Temple United Holy Church, 402 Minchew Street, Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.  

A public viewing will be Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  The family is receiving friends at 1714 Centre St., Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 1 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please pray for the Barnes Family during this difficult time.
