Marlene Elizabeth Ashby

Mrs. Marlene Elizabeth Ashby, age 81, of 3708 Stonehenge Drive, Wilson was called from labor to reward on Friday, November 27, 2020.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Due to COVID restrictions, the service will be private.

Marlene was born in Washington, DC on October 12, 1939.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Hicks; her father, Peter A Hicks; one sister, Harriet; and one brother, James.

Loving memories are forever cherished by her husband, Richard L Ashby; one daughter, Rhonda; one son, Richard, Jr.; brother Peter A Hicks; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their appreciation for your thoughts, prayers, words of consolation, and acts of kindness during our time of bereavement.
