Lessie Mae Farmer

Ms. Lessie Mae Farmer, age 99, of 210 Taylor Street, Elm City, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, March 14, 2020.  A celebration of her life and legacy will be held Saturday at 2:30 pm at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro St., Wilson.  Pastor Herbert Joyner will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.

She leaves cherished memories to one daughter, Lucille Dickens of Rocky Mt., NC; a very special granddaughter and caregiver, Mary Forbes (Malcolm); a great granddaughter, Veronica Forbes (Frederick); four great great grandchildren, Tatyana Forbes, Tyasia Boykin, Ty'Rell Boykin and Aloria Jones of the home; granddaughters, Elizabeth Quiles of Wilson, NC, Brenda Artis, Sylvia Moore of Sharpsburg, NC, Mamie Kelly, Sarah Hinnant, Charlotte Dickens, Dorothy White of Rocky Mt., NC; grandsons, Clifton Dickens, Donald Hinnant and Will Dickens, Jr. of Rocky Mt., NC; thirty-one great great grandchildren, thirty-two great great great grandchildren, fifteen great great great great grandchildren; a special friend/caregiver, Sabrina Daniels; and a host of other relatives and friends.
