Lennette Barnes

Ms. Lennette Barnes, age 58, of 416 North Parker St., Elm City was called to eternal rest on Thursday, April 9.  A private funeral service for family will be held.

Precious memories are cherished by her daughter, Kathy Barnes (Bennie) of Wilson, NC; her son, Elder Kenneth Barnes of Greenville, NC; two sisters, Annette Lucas (Jimmy) of Wilson, NC and Beulah Taylor (Albert) of Sharpsburg, NC; three brothers, Eddie Ruffin (Gwen), Benjamin Barnes and Irvin Barnes all of Wilson, NC; five grandchildren that she cherished as her own, Jeremy Barnes, Tyrone Barnes, Sabrina Barnes, Tatiana Barnes, and Jamail Barnes; four great-grandchildren; eight aunts, Etta Mae Hines of Irvington, NJ, Annie Barnes, Ilene Barnes, Bobby Jean Ruffin, Dorsey Ruffin, Janice Ruffin, Hilda Moore and Cleo Thomas (Robert) all of Wilson, NC; eight uncles, Eddie Lee Barnes, James Barnes (Carolyn), Jay Ruffin, Sylvester Ruffin, Ricky Ruffin, Clay Ruffin (Doreatha), Christopher Ruffin all of Wilson, NC; Cornellius Ruffin of Saratoga, NC; one great aunt, Ester Ruffin; two special nieces, Donnella Harris (Ricky) and Barbara Jean Jones (Torey); a host of nieces, nephews and cousin.
