Lavern Foreman Carew

Ms. Lavern Foreman Carew, age 54, of Brooklyn, NY formerly of Wilson was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1 pm at St. Mark Apostolic Holiness Church, 6328 Radiotower Road, Wilson.  Interment will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery.

Loving and lasting memories are cherished by her sons, Kamari Foreman and Ansil Carew; her parents, James Foreman and Minnie Barham of Wilson, NC; her grandmother, Edith Ree Allen; one sister, Shamona Foreman of Selma, NC; two brothers, Terry Foreman of Wilson, NC, and Stacy Foreman (Shelly) of Williamson, NC; two aunts, Doris Jean Williams  and Grace Horton of Wilson, NC; one uncle, Johnny Stevenson of New Jersey; a host of other relatives and friends including her best friend, Yvonne Forsythe.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 from 3 pm to 7 pm in the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home with an inspirational wake there from 6 pm to 7 pm. The family is receiving friends at 1816 Butterfield Lane, Wilson and will assemble there at 12 noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
