Larry Charles Batts

Mr. Larry Charles Batts affectionately known as "LB", age 66, of 403 Crestview Ave., Wilson was called to eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 31.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ 1601 Lane St., Wilson.  Elder Andre Williams will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Precious memories are cherished by his mother, Lucille Batts Lane of Wilson, NC; his daughter, Latisha Barnes of Connecticut; three sons, Larry DonEarl Williams (Crystal), Larry D. Crowell and Montay Barnes all of Wilson, NC; eight sisters, Linda Dianne Lewis (James), Joyce P. McLaurin (Robert), Janice B. Wade, Linda P. Wiley (Roderick), Peggy Batts, Wanda B. Taylor, Jeanine B. Wiley (Howard) and Connie Batts all of Wilson, NC; three brothers, Johnny R. Lane and Clarence Lane both of Philadelphia, PA and Elder Douglas Barnes (Belinda) of Zebulon; four aunts, Bettie Jean Alexander, Michelle Queen (Ronald) and Carolyn Dottey, all of Washington, DC, and Mary Batts of Wilson, NC; one uncle, Morris Graham (Sue) of Rocky Mount, NC; four grandchildren, Taylor Williams, Larry Williams, Robert Hall and Montika Murray; one great granddaughter, Ava Murray; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Angelia Williams and Buddy Horton. 

A viewing will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  The family is receiving friends at 2006 Longview Circle E, Wilson and 803 Railroad Street, Wilson.  They will assemble at 2006 Longview Circle E, Wilson at 12 noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
