Julia Mae Simmons Barnes

Mrs. Julia Mae Simmons Barnes, age 93, of 514 New Bern Street, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.  A celebration of life will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 12 noon at St. John AME Zion Church, 119 Pender St. E, Wilson, North Carolina.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.  

A public viewing will be Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there at 11 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
