Joyce Kay Bynum Curtis

Mrs. Joyce Kay Bynum Curtis, age 60, of 808 Goldsboro St., Wilson was called to eternal rest on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Affectionately known as Penny, she was the daughter of Richard Artis, Jr. and Mamie Ruth Bynum.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street Extension, Wilson. The Rev. George Ward will be the eulogist, and Minister Anthony Johnson will be the presider. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 East Nash Street, Wilson with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at other times at the residence of her sister, Pastor Annie Pearl Melvin 305 Lillian Rd., Wilson and will assemble there at 12 noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
