Joseph Franklin Simmons

Mr. Joseph Franklin Simmons, age 76, of 6504 Juanita Loop, Lucama, NC was called to his eternal rest on Thursday, October 29, 2020.  A graveside service will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1 pm at Hamilton Burial Garden, Wilson.  Bishop Eloise Sessoms will officiate. 

Precious  memories will be forever cherished by his mother, Earlie Mae Mitchell Simmons of Lucama, NC; his two daughters, Gloria Simmons Bullock of Wilson, NC and Charlene Paige of Rocky Mount, NC; his five sons, Nathaniel Terry, his wife Racheal of Georgia, Joseph Jerome Simmons of Sharpsburg, NC, Charles Alexander Simmons of Wilson, NC, Joshua Simmons, his wife Shonnel, and Dexter Simmons of Wilson, NC; two sisters, Mamie Donald of Rocky Mount, NC and Earlie L. Simmons of Lucama, NC; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 noon on Friday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Simmons family in your prayers during this difficult time.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.  They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
