Johnnie Jenkins, Jr.

Mr. Johnnie Jenkins, Jr., age 72, of 5832 NC Highway 58 N, Elm City was called to eternal rest on Sunday, January 12, 2020.  Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ 1601 Lane St. Ext., Wilson. The Rev. Dr. Charles Darden will officiate.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.

Loving and lasting memories are cherished by his children, Diane Johnson (Jerome) of Wilson, NC, Johnny Jenkins, Jr. of Sharpsburg, NC, Debbie Arrington of Princeville, NC, Danny Jenkins and Alice Jenkins both of Rocky Mount, NC, Melinda Jenkins of Sharpsburg, NC and Steven Jenkins (Tonya) of Rocky Mount, NC; his siblings, Ida Mercer (Milton) of Rocky Mount, NC, Ida Pearl Bethea (Jack) of Sharpsburg, NC, Hattie Blossom of Rocky Mount, NC, Bertha Parker of Sharpsburg, NC, Fannie Doris Harris of Charlotte, NC, Donald Jenkins (Janice) and Louis Jenkins (Evett) both of Rocky Mount, NC, Josephine Bethea (William) and Terry Jenkins both of Sharpsburg, NC; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

A viewing will be held Saturday from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home 726 South Tarboro St., Wilson.
