Joe Leece Pegues, 67, of 2420 Winding Creek Drive, Wilson, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016.
A Celebration of his life and work will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street East, Wilson. Bishop Henry Joyner will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section. Visitation will be held Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Carrons Funeral Home.
