Joanna Jones Willingham age 73 of 1601-A Tilghman Rd, Wilson passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Wilson Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 pm at Sandy Fork Missionary Baptist Church 9197 Sandy Fork Rd, Wilson. Rev. Jackie Dunn, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
Left to remember Joanna with love are four daughters, Ernestine Canady and Margaret Willingham both of Wilson, Katie Dublin of Hampton,VA and Janice Howard of High Point, NC; three sons, Harvey Willingham, Jr. of Arlington, VA, Michael Willingham and Gregory Willingham both of Wilson; three sisters, Barbara Jones of Wilson, Geraldine Hall of Callao, VA and Linda Johnson of Alexandria, VA; two brothers, Windsor Jones of Wilson and Willie Jones of Maryland; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
