Mr. Jerome Armstrong, age 67, of 8027 Town Creek Road, Elm City was called to his eternal rest on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. A celebration of his life and the life of his lifetime companion, Janice Ellis will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section.
Loving and lasting memories are cherished by his sisters, Ethel Avent and Mary Payton both of Washington, DC, Eunice Mourning and husband George of Temple Hill, MD, Margie Armstrong of Elm City, NC, Grace Armstrong of Washington, DC and Thelma Armstrong of Wilson, NC; his brother, Lonnie Armstrong, Jr. of Wilson, NC; a host of aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be Tuesday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson. The family is receiving friends at 710 N. Parker Street, Elm City and will assemble there at 12 noon on Wednesday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Armstrong family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
