James Earl Staton, age 40, of 4530 NC Highway 117, Wilson, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017. He was the son of James Earl Kearney and Flossie Staton.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Summerville Chapel Church Ministries, 801 East Vance Street, Wilson, North Carolina. Pastor Walter Hardy will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street East, Wilson.

A viewing will be held at 4:30 pm Friday, November 10, 2017 at Carrons Funeral Home. The family is receiving friends at the residence and at 901 Vance Street, Wilson.
