Funeral service for James Oscar Ragland age 45 of 203-B Maplewood Ave, Wilson who died Sunday at his residence will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Christ Temple of Praise Church 103 Jackson St, Wilson. Rev. M.K. Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Precious memories of James are cherished by his wife, Audrey Joan Alston Ragland;three daughters, Kristin, Janea' and Janicee'; one son, Antonio James Easley;his parents, Jacqueline Ragland and James Leroy Ragland (Pamela); three sisters, Jacqueline Brim, Phyllis D. Ragland and Malain Ragland; two brothers, Parris Walker (Regina) and Mark A. Miller (Monica); his grandmother, Betty L. Burley; two grandchildren, Sklar K. Cash and Noah Josiah Ragland; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Jane Alston; threee aunts, Joanne Johnson (Lorenzo), Judy Starks and Janet Brunson; four uncles, John Frank Ragland, Melvin Griffin, Wheeler Burley, Jr.(Konya)and Kenneth J. Russell (Terri); several nieces, nephews, Godchildren, Christ Temple of Praise Church Family and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 12 noon to 1 pm at Christ Temple of Praise. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
