Mr. James "Doodle" Cox, age 77, of 509 Hadley Street SE, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, May 29, 2026.  Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 2pm at St. Paul Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 4009 Lake Wilson Rd., Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at 4931 Sawdust Rd., Wilson, NC.  Please keep the Cox Family in your thoughts and prayers.
