James Isaac Grant

Mr. James Isaac Grant, age 73, of 1007 Tarboro St., Apt. G, Wilson was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  A celebration of his life and legacy will be Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1 pm at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Grant leaves loving and lasting memories to his daughters, Jacqueline M. Jones of District Heights, MD, Elder Takiecy Sellars Dunston (Greg) of Clayton, NC, Felicia Sellars Ross (Paul) of Clayton, NC and Penelope “Rudy” Archie (Rickie) of Wilson, NC who was like a daughter; his sons, James “Lil James” B. Jones (Cynthia) of Wilson, NC, Timothy J. Jones, Sr. of Beltsville, MD, Timothy R. Farmer (Andrea) of Kennesaw, GA, James Grant (Brittany) of Wilson, NC, Justin Grant of Wilson, NC, Marshannon Sellars (Tonya) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Jermaine Jones of Beltsville, MD who was like a son; his siblings, Charlie Canady, Jr., Peggy Bridgers Newsome and Isaac Bridgers all of Wilson, NC; seventeen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, including a special niece, Shirley Ruffin (Jerry) of Wilson, NC; nephews, including a special nephew, Larry Canady of Wilson, NC; cousins, other relatives and friends.
