James Earl Faison

Mr. James Earl Faison, age 68, of 306 Warren Street, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, May 24, 2018. He was affectionately known by family and friends as "BoBo", and he was the son of the late David Faison and Pearlie Pope. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served our country faithfully.
A celebration of his life and work will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1 pm at St. Rose Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 605 South Douglas St., Wilson. Reverend Herman Lucas will deliver the eulogy, and Elder Rondric Coppedge will preside. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section.

Loving and lasting memories are forever cherished by his dedicated wife, Peggy James Faison of the home; his daughters, Tiffany Bullock (Reeco) of Durham, NC, Tracy Joyner (Robert) of Wilson, NC and Tameka Vick of Wake Forest, NC; three sisters, Deloris Williams (Thomas), Evora Farmer and Greta Lemons all of Wilson, NC; two brothers, David Faison and Preston Faison both of Wilson, NC; six grandchildren, Parker Bullock and Kingston Bullock both of Durham, NC, Justina Joyner, Trey Joyner and Robert Joyner, III all of Wilson, NC and Imani Vick of Wake Forest, NC; his mother-in-law, Ruby L. James of Wilson, NC; two sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, a special friend, Rev. Herman Lucas of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 East Nash St., Wilson. The family is receiving friends at the residence where they will assemble at 12 noon on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession.
