Mr. James Edward Artis, age 76, of 309 Raleigh Road Parkway N, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 at 11 am at Carrons Funeral Home, Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. Interment will be private.

A public viewing will be Friday, Nov. 7, 2025 from 3 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 am on Saturday in preparation for the service. Please remember the Artis Family in your prayers during this difficult time.
