Irella Moore Massey

Ms. Irella Moore Massey, age 90, of 210 West Hines Street, Wilson was called from labor to reward on Sunday, January 5, 2020.  A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1004 Railroad Street, Wilson.  The Rev. Steven Kent will officiate.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.  

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Janice Jenkins of the home, Linda Barnes and Joyce Evans of Wilson, NC; her sons, Willie Lee Boykin, Jr. (Beatrice) of Elm City, NC and Kenneth Boykin (Rita) of Wilson, NC; three sisters,  Elder Mary Simon, Mother Edna Gray Williams and Bessie Howard all of Wilson, NC; forty-nine grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, ten great- great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 4 pm to 7:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home ,726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson with an inspirational wake there from 6 pm to 7 pm.
