Inez Barnes Simms Tyson

Ms. Inez Barnes Simms Tyson, age 93, of 102 Randall Lane, Goldsboro, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, November 3, 2024. A celebration of life will be Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 at 11 am at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.   

An inspirational wake will be Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  A public viewing will be Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 9:30 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
