George Washington Ellis

Mr. George Washington "Babe" Ellis, age 85, of 1804 Forest Hills Road W, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday, September 28, 2024. A celebration of life will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at 1 pm at Mary Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 6202 Wiggins Mill Road, Lucama, NC.  Interment will follow in the Ellis Family Cemetery, 4913 NC Highway 58, Wilson, NC 

A public viewing will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Mary Grove Church. The family is receiving friends at 7135 US Highway 264 Alternate W, Bailey and will assemble there at 12 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
