Geneva Coleman

January 5, 1931 — January 12, 2020

Ms. Geneva Coleman, age 89, of 1308 Grove Street, Wilson was called from labor to reward on Sunday, January 12, 2020.  A celebration of her life and legacy will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 7 pm in the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  Missionary Geraldine Whitley will officiate.

Precious memories are cherished by her adopted children, Tonya Rowe, Corey Bland, Cleo Barnes and Darryl Davender; siblings, Mattie Coleman, Jessie "Rat" Coleman  and Roy Coleman (Barbara Ann); two grandchildren, whom she adored, Jameel and Kien Coleman and her great granddaughter, Kira Coleman of New York; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Hurdle of Brooklyn, NY; all of her nieces and nephews who were very special to her heart, especially Juanita Cox of Wilson, NC.

The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble at Carrons Funeral Home at 6:15 pm in preparation for the service.  Please remember the Coleman family in prayer during their hours of bereavement.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.  They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
