Mr. Fred Douglas Ward, Sr., age 73, of 4426 Fort Run Road, Snow Hill, North Carolina departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Funeral service will be Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family is receiving friends at 7408 Bartee Bridge Rd., Stantonsburg, NC and will assemble at the funeral home at 11:15 am on Sunday in preparation for the funeral service. Please keep the Ward Family lifted up in prayer during this difficult time.
