Mr. Frank Lawrence Penny, Jr., age 75, of 809 Martin Street, Smithfield, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, August 23, 2024.  Funeral service will be Monday, September 2, 2024 at12 pm at Mitchener Memorial Baptist Church, 911 Blount St., Smithfield, NC. Interment will be Tues., Sept. 3, 2024 at 12 pm at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Rd., Goldsboro, NC.

A viewing will be Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm at Mitchener Memorial Baptist Church. The family is receiving friends at 215 East Heath Ave., Smithfield, NC and will assemble there at 10 am on Monday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Penny family in your thoughts and prayers.
