Ms. Frances Rebecca Mayo Mitchell, age 89, of 4612 Dewfield Drive N, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, July 25, 2026. A celebration of her life and legacy will be Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Jackson Chapel First Missionary Baptist Church, 571 Nash St. E, Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.
A public viewing will be Friday, August 7, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 11:00 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
