Florene A. Mitchell

Ms. Florene Anderson Mitchell, age 88, of 5214 NC Highway 264 Alternate E, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, March 19, 2023.  A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2 pm at Rountree Missionary Baptist Church, 2110 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving memories are left to be cherished by; her children, Reginald Mitchell (Vanessa) and Sharon M. Parker (Raethan) both of Wilson, NC; two brothers, Charlie Anderson (Earllene) and Milton Anderson (Marion) both of Orlando, FL; one sister, Deborah Yelverton (Roger) of Wilson, NC; three step-daughters; Angela Mitchell of Mebane, NC, Georgetta Mitchell of Black Creek, NC, and Phyllis Diane Mitchell of Bailey, NC; two step-sons, Jessie Mitchell of Wilson, NC and Willie Deans (Odessa) of Lucama, NC; three sisters-in-law, Marion Brown and Deborah Mitchell, both of Wilson, NC, and Bessie Mitchell of Washington, DC; one brother-in-law, Clarence Ray Mitchell Sr. of Wilson, NC; two grandchildren, Isaiah Brown and Shaniah Mitchell, both of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson.  The family will be present to receive friends.  They will assemble at 2204 Tunstall Pl SW, Wilson at 1 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Mitchell family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
