Emily Avis Handy

Ms. Emily Avis Everette Handy, age 74, of 1804 Forest Hills Rd., Wilson, North Carolina passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025.  Funeral service will be Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025 at 2 pm at Suggs Christian Temple Free Will Baptist Church, 1602 Stantonsburg Rd.. SE, Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  The family is receiving friends at 505 Walnut St. S, Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 1 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Handy Family in your prayers.
