Edd Cleo Sutton

Deacon Edd Cleo Sutton, age 76, of 5116 Kennedy Road, Wilson was called from labor to reward on Thursday, June 6, 2019.   A celebration of his life and legacy will be held Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11 am at White Oak Pentecostal Holiness Church 5259 NC Highway 264 Alternate, Wilson.  Pastor Sherry Lucas will deliver the eulogy, and Bishop Henry Cox will preside. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving memories are forever cherished by his wife, Doris Lucas Sutton of the home; his daughters, Cynthia Sutton (Nate), Angel Sutton both of the home, Melinda J. Sutton of New Jersey, Marchelle Sutton Horner (Troy) of Garner, NC and Dorothy "DJ" Black of Greenville, NC; his sons, Luiz L. Lucas (Angela) of Wilson, NC, Jonathan E. Sutton (Trina) of Atlanta, GA and Shelton B. Sutton of Seven Springs, NC; three sisters, Deborah Robinson (Ray), Phyllis McNeil and Joannie Faison all of Goldsboro, NC; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Lynn McNeil (Christopher) of Wilson, NC; two brothers-in-law, Vincent Lucas and Vincent Lucas of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 4 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 East Nash Street, Wilson.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 10 am on Monday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please remember the Sutton Family in prayer during their hours of bereavement.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.  They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
