Douglas Edwards

Douglas Edwards, age 72 of 7716 Gardners School Road, Saratoga, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.  

A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, February 18, 2017 at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church, 311 Church Street, Stantonsburg, North Carolina.  Bishop Willie Thomas will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.  

Loving memories are forever cherished by his wife, Dr. Leccie Edwards of the home; his son, Eric Edwards (Monica) of Clayton; his daughter, Diane Reid of Washington, DC; a daughter-in-law, Robin Edwards of Wilson; one sister, one brother, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A public will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm Friday, February 17, 2017 in the Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at St. Luke Church on Friday from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there at 12 noon on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in preparation for the funeral procession.
